Is the free selection really free?
Yes. This Saturday I will send you a free selection. It will not be one of my strongest bets, but it is still fancied to win by the stable. It is free, win or lose.
Frequently asked questions This is a short list of our most frequently asked questions
Your free selection
How do I get it?
Fill in your details with the “Join us” form, or ring 01932 869400.
Payments
How do I pay?
You only pay when a selection wins. When I have a bet, I send you a text with the horse, the race, the price, a few words on why, and the terms – the stake the winnings are based on (typically 20, 10 each-way, 40, 50 or 100). If you want to be involved you text back yes and place the bet at that stake. If it wins, the bookmaker pays the winnings: you keep your stake and send us the winnings once the bookmaker has paid you. The amount is based on the winnings from the price you actually obtained, and we don’t chase small differences. Once your account is settled you are eligible for further selections.
What if it loses?
You lose your stake, as with any bet, and you owe us nothing. Only bet what you can afford to lose.
Do I have to take every selection?
No. Every bet is your choice.
General
How often do selections win?
Not every selection wins. Over the last four years about a third of ours have won (33%). Past performance is no guarantee of future results.
