If your horse falls  ... Get your money back!

Plus a FREE £50 for opening an account!

Great News! If your horse falls get your money back!

I'll be honest what attracted me to Sunderlands offer is that today (Dec 3rd) I backed a horse each way that fell when he was sure to win or be second.

Amoreigh had taken the field along and together with the favourite was now 20 lengths clear at the second last  ... when he blundered and fell! Ouch. I was gutted because my bet was safe and the worse case he would have been 2nd, to be honest the favourite was cantering and I don't think my horse would have beaten him but he would have been 2md. But when he fell I lost TWICE (the win and the place bets) . It hurt! I was really cross  because I'd shared the bet with my clients many of whom are good friends and so I know they'd lost too.  Later when I was discussing the result with another Professional Punter he let me know that he'd discovered a little known secret  ... that for this month only (ie  December) Sunderlands are offering your  money back if your horse falls! Fantastic!

SUNDERLANDS MONEY BACK IF YOUR HORSE FALLS OFFER

            So the deal is this

  • For every Saturday in December if your horse falls during any race in the Uk or in Ireland they will refund your stake as a FREE Bet!
  • There are some minor "catches"
  • It applies to win bets only

    • (Ah shucks I love betting each way!) But that's as bad as it seems.
  • Like taking Candy off a baby!

    • There are many horse you'd like to bet but hold back because they might fall. For example  today Sovereign King was a certainty if he didn't fall.  He was  a distance ahead of his rivals on hurdles  form but had fallen on his first try over fences last week. I knew he'd been extensively schooled and his jumping was better but there was still a doubt as he's very exhuberant and takes chances at his fences. But the only danger was him falling. If you were guarantee dhe couldn't fall it's a fantastci bet. And if Sunderlands are daft enough to offer you a free Bet in a race like that then I'd snatch their hands off right now! Taking advantage of this Sunderlands offer in a case like that is like taking Candy off a baby. But why should we give the bookies any mercy!
  • Sunderlands offer is  for  singles only

    • The Sunderlands offer only applies to singles. Pity. Sunderlands may be generous but they're not totally stupid! I guess that's fair enough as I can see it would be a bit of a kicker for them if you'd had  3 winners in a yankee and they still had to pay you thousands if the last one fell! Last week one of my clients enjoyed a lovely 3 doubles and a treble on our 3 winners so it's not too far from the realms of possibility! or should that be probability?!
    • You have to place the free bet at SP. Now that's  shame because I always try and beat the odds. But I guess if it's a free bet  and Sunderlands money not mine it doesn't really matter if the SP is a little bit less, it's still a very good deal. I can accept SP for a FREE bet!
    • They won't allow you to use it in conjunction with any other special offer whatever that means!

Cane them for a FREE £50 worth of bets too!

There's even more good news! If you don't have an account with Sunderlands yet  (quite likely as they're not a really well know bookie) then open one now and you get £50 worth of FREE bets as well! Now we're cooking!

This part of their offer isn't as generous as the other. You get the £50 a tenner at a time but it's still £50.   They give you a tenner when you first deposit money with them, then you get 4 more tenners. You just have to use your first free £10 within 30 days of opening the account. No sweat I could easily find 10 or 20  horses to bet in a month and surely  on one or two of those Sunderlands will be offering the best odds!  As you know I always recommend waiting till the bookie is offering the best odds, then hit him for six!

Other Sunderlands offers

Maybe I'm being a bit mean to Sunderlands but they are bookmakers after all so it's only fair isn't it? But to be fair to them they are maling an effort to be competitive which is more than you can say for some greedy bookies!

Here's a couple more of their Special offers which might be to yoru advantage (but only bet when you want to, don't let their special offers tempt you into a bet you wouldn't have had anyway)

Sunderlands  5% of  Deposit Free Bet

mmmm This is an interesting one if you're a big hitter!

Basically Sunderlands will give you an extra 5% of any deposit so long as you b et it at least once on an even money chance or better.  and it looks like you can bet on anything you like racing, football or any of their sports markets.

So if you were going to have a big bet on say your favourite soccer team and they were evens or better you could deposit £10,000, bet the team and you get a free £500 bet! Now I'm more of a gambler than an investor but I do know you can't even get close to 5% in the bank anymore. More like 1% and it takes 12 months!

Of course the problem with a bet is you can lose the lot  .. mind you come to think of it some people who put their money in Icelandic banks didn't do so well eh?

But what if you could find a football match where the bookies had a wide difference of opinion ... so you could get for example  (ignoring the draw for the moment) Evens one side and evens the other. Or maybe you could bet one team at evens and lay it off on the exchanges if it was trading shorter. Then you could either bet both teams and cover your stake  ... and snaffle 5% for doing it! Sounds like a better deal than buying a house at the moment!

I'll leave it to your devious mind to work out the details! But if you do try something crazy like this please make sure you do cover your stake so you can't lose! Ie if the draw is included (as it usually is ) then make sure you've covered ALL possibilities.

The basic rule for an "arb" is you need to find a situation where the bookies are betting "overbroke" between them. Ie the percentage equivalent of all the odds  of all the possible results in that game add up to less than 100%.

For a football match with a draw you have 3 possibilities and an example would be if you could get better than say 6/4 Team A, 2/1 team B and 11/4 the draw.  6/4 is 40% , 2/1 is 33.3% and 11/4 is 26.7%  adding up to 100% or a no -win no lose scenario.

Get bigger odds than those and you move into  the guaranteed profit zone. Eg 7/4, 9/4 and 11/4 is 36.36%, 30.77% and 26.67% adding up to 93.9% meaning for every £100 return you only risk £93.80 making £6.20 risk free. Try the maths. Bet £36.36 on the 7/4 chance,  £30.77 on the 9/4 shot and £26.67 on the 11/4 draw and you'll see you win no matter who wins.  It's bookmaking in reverse!

It's in situations like that you might consider a very big deposit to snaffle the 5%!

Of course you could just wait till you really fancy a big bet anyway and deposit on that day. Worth keeping in reserve for a rainy don't you think?

Sunderlands First Goalscorer Bonus ... Double the odds!

I'm no expert on football betting and very rarely do so I'd never take advantage of this offer. But if you are a soccer enthusiast from time to time they offer an interesting tempter.

Double the odds if  your goalscorer scores in the first 15 minutes. Sadly they limit this bet to a maximum £50 otherwise I guess you could get 22 mates together and bet everyone in both teams! At double the odds you'd think you'd come out ahead f you bet in proportion to the odds like we did above. I'll leave it to your devious mind to work it out!

FREE ODDS PPERCENTAGE REPORT

(Useful for arbing) (if you 'd like to know the percentage equivalent for every price eg 6/4 = 40%, 5/4= 44.44%  and so on then drop me an email from the contact page and I'll send you a full report (FREE of course!)

Sunderlands offer summary

You probably know my view by now. You can't have too many bookmakers accounts and especially internet bookmakerrs accounts. Why?

  • You get better odds if you have more accounts. If you only have one bookmakers account you are bound to miss some of the best odds.
  • No matter how many accounts you have you will get closed down and your stakes will be limited when you start winning. It's annoying but it's a fact of life. So my view is open as many accounts as possible .. and if bookmakers like Sunderlands are crazy enough to give you a free bet when you would have had the bet anyway ... grab it with both hands! It really is like Free money!

URGENT!

The horse falling money back bonus only applies to December and only Saturdays so you need to open the account fast as you only have 4 chances to play, December 6th, 13th, 20th and the 27th.

So open an account now, stick a tenner in it to grab your first free tenner and then wait and see if you fancy backing a horse that might fall and they are offering decent odds on. That way you only tie up a tenner and are set up ready to pounce if a good bet like Sovereign King shows up again. All the best, Bob
